I am an artist based in Paris. My works are mostly paintings, pastels and photographs.
I like to play with blur, movement and raw, naked colors. My works revolve around rough textures, silhouettes and imprecise compositions. Representing movement constitutes a huge part of my process: i include silhouettes and people moving. The imposing silence of mountains, wide, raw landscapes and the rapture of a dancing crowd are the same thing for me : a rush of life you feel in your throat.

My works are expressionists, with both abstract and more figurative compositions. I delve into the dynamic interplay of movement and texture through a diverse range of mediums, including oil, acrylic, and pastel. Layering and blending medium creates a rich, tactile and visual work.

I seek to capture the feeling of childhood summers, of seaweed sticking to your feet, of the warm mountain wind. I put on the canvas the heat, sand and salt, water lines on the skin, sea and foam, rocks and mountains. Bodies on the horizon, distant, abstract, appearing to the child following his parents on the foggy after-dinner stroll, far behind. A mist, a grandiose mystery that transports us out of ourselves.

Using bold brushstrokes and vibrant hues allows me to convey dynamism, evoke a sense of ethereal sensations, touch feelings like facing the sea or a mountain.
